In iOS 8, Buddha Pong will crash every time unless you allow it access to the camera as well as the microphone. This is silly, of course, because Buddha Pong doesn’t use the camera. The problem is that we use a third party service called OpenTok to make our audio possible, and OpenTok requires that you enable the camera even on apps that don’t use it.
Luckily, it’s easy to solve the problem by making these changes in your Settings App:
Settings > Buddha Pong > Privacy (new in iOS 8) > Microphone YES & Camera YES
